In taking over this iconic Auckland location, new restaurant Teddy’s Brasserie, asked us to create a fresh face for the beautiful historic building. We used cedar batten panels throughout to retain the warmth of the space as well as lifting the light with modern design. The bar has been opened up and lightened, inviting people off Ponsonby road in for a drink. The restaurant’s long couches and booths offer intimacy and cosiness, while vertical panelling works to make the dining room feel spacious and elegant.
